General Terms and Conditions
- Selected teams are required to cooperate with MegaBox and the HKFYG (the Organisers), including attending briefing sessions, related activities, the launch ceremony, and participating in media interviews. The Organisers reserve the right to disqualify any team that fails to attend these activities.
- Selected teams must implement their projects as outlined in the application form. Teams that receive support are required to provide regular updates on business progress, forecasts and milestones, as well as submit business reports.
- The Organisers will monitor the progress and operations of selected teams throughout the Programme to ensure compliance with terms and satisfactory business performance.
- Selected teams must apply for business registration for their business operations in accordance with the Business Registration Ordinance (Cap. 310).
- The Organisers reserve the right to terminate a participant’s eligibility to participate in the Programme at any time with reasonable justification.
- By participating in the Programme, participants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of the Programme.
- The Organisers reserve the right to make the final decision in case of any dispute, including the right to suspend, modify, or terminate the Programme and its terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. The Organisers accept no liability for the amendments above, suspension, and/or termination.
- In case of any disputes regarding the Terms and Conditions, the Organisers reserve the right of final decision.
- Terms and Conditions are subject to change without prior notice.
"Mobile Booth" Terms and Conditions
- Selected teams must provide the required supporting documents (e.g., proof of address, copy of certificate of incorporation, business registration certificate, etc.) as requested by the Organisers from time to time and present to the Organisers their Hong Kong Identity Cards for verification purposes.
- Photography or video recording may take place for promotional purposes. Selected participants grant permission to the Organisers, indicating their consent to be photographed or recorded without objection or refusal.
- The Organisers reserve the right to publish and use the images, videos, and written materials submitted by applicants and selected teams for promotional purposes.
- If any individual is found to have engaged in actual, suspected, or alleged fraudulent behaviour during the programme—including but not limited to providing false information, misusing others’ data, or participating through dishonest means—the Organisers reserve the right to revoke their eligibility and pursue legal action if necessary.
- Selected teams will operate mobile booths provided by MegaBox as start-up booths for a three-month trial period during weekends and public holidays. These booths are provided free of charge, with no rent required for selected teams.
- Outstanding start-up teams from the three-month trial period will be considered for selection as recommended projects for pop-up stores or shops.
"Pop-up Store & Shop" Terms and Conditions
- Selected teams recommended for pop-up stores or shops need not pay rent, management fees, air conditioning fees, promotional fees, or Rates but will need to cover electricity and/or water expenses. MegaBox will offer free marketing support and basic shopfitting (including floors, ceilings, and walls) for the projects. If the selected participants make net profits from their business during the Programme, MegaBox shall be entitled to charge 20 per cent (20%) of their net profits (“the Fee”) to support the development of the Programme. Other terms and conditions are subject to the lease agreement.
- Selected teams may operate their business in the allocated shops or pop-up stores for a duration of 12 months, subject to a review of business performance every two months. The Organisers will regularly review participants' business performance. If a shop or pop-up store is found to be operating unsatisfactorily, remains closed for an extended period, or encounters other unsatisfactory conditions, the Organisers reserve the right to require the participant to cease operations and return the store to MegaBox.

How to have the opportunities to start the business at MegaBox?
In response to the Hong Kong Housing Authority's “Well Being · Start-Up 2.0 Programme” , MegaBox and The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups (HKFYG) have joined forces to launch the "Youth Entrepreneurship Journey" programme (the Programme). It aims to support young entrepreneurs and slashers in Hong Kong to step beyond traditional employment frameworks and explore diverse opportunities.
The Programme offers entrepreneurship training courses tailored to enhance business acumen, improve business models, and acquire practical skills in marketing and presentation. Upon course completion, participants will present their business plans to professional mentors to refine their entrepreneurial visions with practical insights.
6 winning projects will be selected to operate start-up booths provided with compliments of MegaBox for a three-month trial period during weekends and public holidays. Outstanding start-up teams will have the opportunity to be recommended to operate pop-up store or shop* in MegaBox (no less than 300 square feet) for a trial period of up to 12 months, turning their entrepreneurial dreams into reality.

Series 1 Training Courses Details
Entrepreneurship Training Course
Date: 14 June (Sat) ; 15 Jun (Sun)
Venue: Room B-E, 11/F, Genesis, 33-35 Wong Chuk Hang Road, Hong Kong
Teaching language: Cantonese
Certificate: Participants with an 80% or above attendance rate will be awarded a participation certificate and obtain an interview opportunity.

Eligibility
- Hong Kong permanent resident, aged between 18 and 35.
- Can apply individually or as a team to the Entrepreneurship Training Course.
- The company must be registered in Hong Kong with less than 5 years of operation.
- Businesses must not be unlawful, illegal or involved in tobacco, advocacy of gambling, obscenity, etc.
- Has no bankruptcy records or involvement in procedures for filing a creditor’s petition for bankruptcy.
- If the intended business or existing business is owned by the applicants in the form of a partnership/limited company, all the partners/shareholders must be joint applicants and fulfil the above requirements.
Proposed Projects
- The nature of business is not limited, but the projects related to the catering industry and franchise stores will not be included in the scope of consideration.
Application Method
- The Programme only accepts online applications.
- Please submit the online application form before the deadline (Series 1: 5:00pm, June 9 2025).
- After completing the online application form, applicants will receive a training fee payment notice and a document submission email within one week.
- Complete the training fee payment and submit the required documents.
- Successful applicants will receive a confirmation email from the Secretariat by June 12 2025.

- Completed online application form;
- Hong Kong Identity Card copies (for all team members);
- Copies of academic qualifications and recent employment certificates (for all team members);
- Relevant business registration documents, including a copy of the Business Registration Certificate, a copy of the Certificate of Incorporation and a copy of the Incorporation Form (Company Limited by Shares); and
- Proof of registered intellectual property, trademarks, patents or copyrights (if any)
